Postnatal Support
I support mothers through the ups and downs of the 4th trimester, adjusting to life with your newborn baby and their constant development and changing patterns.
I can support you with establishing feeding- breastfeeding or bottle feeding (or a combination)- by offering guidance if you do not feel confident with your latch and other method (expressing and bottle feeding).
I can help you to get some rest and feel a little more “normal” again, by providing that breathing space during my visits, when I can take over the load of caring for your baby and your household.
I come to care for you.
I can be a listening ear after a challenging night. I can cook warm and nutritious meals, or bring you copious amounts of snacks and cups of tea. Depending on where you are at, I may even offer you some relaxation, massaging your scalp or areas of your body that may need comfort.
Postnatal doula is responsive to your needs in your 4th trimester. Whether you need help hanging and folding your laundry, re-organising baby’s wardrobe or being shown how to carry baby in your sling, we are there on your side.
Depending on the circumstances, I also can, and invariably do, signpost or help parents gain access to any additional support and services they or their baby need.
I am DBS checked and hold a full insurance.
I also support parents during the night.
