Night doula support with Joséphine
Sleep is the best way to restore and repair, but it can be really difficult and rare to get a good, uninterrupted night’s sleep during the first weeks and months of baby’s life. (Even more so, if you are the parent of multiples!)
As a qualified doula, I can take over the load of feeding and looking after your baby throughout the night, whilst you take that must-needed sleep, so you can wake up feeling rested and ready to face the day ahead.
You can book night doula support as a one-off, occasionally when you most need it,
or on a weekly basis (up to 2 nights a week).

Mother can keep breastfeeding if she desires; Though if she would like to get a full rest, it is recommended for breastfeeding mother to provide expressed milk or formula (or a mix of both).
*Note: it is usually recommended to wait until your baby feels happy and confident with breastfeeding before starting to express. -
I offer a 10-hour shift, typically from 9pm to 7am or 10pm to 8am.*
During this time, I allow myself to nap when/ if baby sleeps. Most parents are happy with this. This allows me to keep my fees low (in line with my daytime postnatal rates), as I won’t need to cancel an entire day of work to recuperate the next day.
If however, you would prefer to pay me to stay awake at all time, this can also be arranged, and will be reflected in my hourly rate.
*Possibility to also arrange for a shorter period of hours, if preferred.
