I support new doulas on their path towards their accreditation,
and to gain confidence working with their first clients.
I work with BirthBliss Academy as one of their Doula Coaches.
I am a member of Doula UK, and I can work with you as a ‘Mentored Doula’ to support you through the recognition process, using the Birthbliss Academy framework.
About me
I trained with the wonderful Kicki Hansard (founder of BirthBliss Academy).
Before becoming a doula, I worked for the Sussex Local Maternity Systems (NHS England) and ran a perinatal mental health training programme in the NHS.
My knowledge of the maternity systems and of birth rights has made me a valued “advocate doula” in my region. I feel very passionate about supporting women to reclaim their autonomy of body and decisions in childbirth.
I have supported parents navigating a baby loss, and have held spaces (circles, retreats, etc) for women healing a baby or a pregnancy loss.
I strongly believe in doula work being a viable, valued and rewarding career. Doulas offer invaluable work- often even healing- to women, their birth and postpartum experience.
Doulas deserve to have a successful/ thriving business, no matter what your definition of success might be.
